I beat Bryan Michaud, a young upcoming player from the Canadian team 3:0. He played well in the first two games. I played a tough match with Eric Owens in the semifinals and won 3:1. All the sets were very close and I was down a set point in the fourth game. He was playing really well. We played the finals on the main stage of the Arnold Classic event in front of several hundred spectators. My opponent was Wang Zhen of the Canadian Team and I won 3:1. I won the crucial first set 12:10 and was up 2:0 in sets. He won the third game, but I was able to refocus and win the fourth game. Overall it was a great success for the Canadian team in Ohio. Homayoun Kamkar Parsi won the Hard bat event and Sara Yuen won the U2400 event.
