1st SITTA Robo-Pong Tournament Results

The 1st SITTA Robo-Pong tournament was conducted by SITTA on May 30th 2009. The tournament was a grand success in every single aspect. Thanks to our tournament sponsors Kansai Japanese Steak House ($500.00), Newgy (Donated a Robo 2040) and Butterfly for balls without the tournament could not have taken place. Thanks to them once again.
We ran a full house where the tournament was divided into 4 groups of 8 round robin format with Group C and D in the morning and groups A and B in the afternoon. In all groups, the top seed did not finish first. Only in Group D the top seed finished 2nd and in the rest of the groups the top seeds did not even finish in top 4.
We had great matches between players. Everyone was on their toes, which made the tournament committee keep going on with all their matches. All matches were completed on time and everyone was out of the playing area by 6:30 p.m. EST.
We had many players who are local, but the tournament attracted many players from the mid west region. We had players from Indianapolis, IN Northern Kentucky, KY Dayton, OH, Columbus, OH and from North Carolina.
All our sponsors were represented players wise also. Roger Dickson from Newgy, D.J Settle and Israel Dumbuya from Butterfly. All players received player’s packet with all our sponsors information and their products.
