The World Champions Coaching Team (WCCT)

The World Champions Coaching Team (WCCT)
The World Champions Coaching Team (WCCT) offers the most comprehensive coaching style available. They are able to provide instruction for a variety of playing styles. With the unique combination of Chinese and European playing styles, the WCCT is on top of the game. Each of the four coaches have different styles and use different equipment ( short, medium pips and inverted rubbers). The success and experience of this coaching staff is unparalled in the table tennis community.
The following is a brief description of the WCCT Coaches:
Li Zhen Shi is a right hand penhold who dominated throughout the 70’s and 80’s. He was one of the best close to the table, pips out attacker of his time. He is well known for his speed, power, forehand, superb footwork and high toss serves. Coach Li has also transformed his style into a shakehand player in the recent years as a coach. Coach Li is a four times World Champion, former US Men's National and Olympic Team Coach. Coach Li led the US Men's National Team to a bronze medal at the 1995 World Cup. This was an impressive feat after 60 years of no medals in US table tennis on the international stage.
Zhang Li is a left hand penhold player from the 1970s. Coach Zhang was highly regarded as being the best player of her time. Coach Zhang's specialty is her consistency, defense game, backhand, and serves. Coach Zhang is also a four times World Champion, former Chinese and US National Women's Team Coach.
Stefan Feth plays a European style, both winged looper. He specializes in topspins from both forehand and backhand with a niche in serving. Stefan is a former world class player who played for the German National Team for many years. In the recent years, he has transitioned into a full time coach working actively with some of the best US cadets and juniors in the country.
Nan Li is a close to the table attacker, with medium pips on the backhand and topspins on the forehand. Nan is known for her backhand, variation in speed and spin in the game, and quickness. Nan was once the best junior in the US, winning a bronze medal at the Global Junior Championships for the US. Nan has recently transitioned her role from the US Women's National Team to join the WCCT coaching staff.
