The Importance of Equipment Quality

But throughout the years, my level of awareness towards the importance of equipment quality has raised. I realize now there was nothing more wrong than the comment I used to say…

In this period of transition toward a game free of speed glue, we need to adjust to our new reality. Most players have been giving a particular attention to the new equipment available on the market. When we train in the gym several hours per day, it goes without saying that we can feel even the very subtle differences…

However, I’ve tried BUTTERFLY equipment and I can tell you this is no subtle difference… It’s just another world!! There is absolutely no comparison with everything else I’ve tried. Just the blade on its own was a discovery for me. Incredibly, it can add the extra speed you need in strong shots to compensate for the fact that speed glue is gone, but without losing any control for the types of shots that need more touch! I didn’t think it could be possible. The scientific research behind this technology has truly produced outstanding results.

But when I’ve tried the rubber sheets… Wow! This is like a dream!! It comes of course with a great speed, but what really puzzled me is the amount of spin that can be generated without effort. Clearly, that can drastically change your top spins to make them much more powerful… and more consistent as well because of the extra spin! In my opinion, the combination of the BUTTERFLY blade and rubber sheets I’m currently using is “at least” as good as everything else I’ve previously tried from other brands WITH speed glue.

Besides the additional power the BUTTERFLY equipment can give you, it will greatly increase your confidence. We all know how just a few points can change the outcome of a match. Why not take the opportunity to make the equipment work in your favor? Good luck!
