French Challenge
However, as always, there are strong challengers.
Benjamin Brossier, the runner up in the Boys’ Singles event at the Hungarian Junior Open, leads the French challenge with Antoine Hachard and Alexander Robinot in support.
The French occupy the no.2 seeded position.
Germany and Hungary
Equally, Germany (seeded no.3) led by 17 year old Christoph Schmidl on duty Volkswagen World Junior Championships in December 2009, present a major challenge with Tran Le Vu, Benedikt Duda and Florian Wagner completing the lineup.
Florian Wagner was one of the players to upset the seeding at the recent Youth Olympic Games Qualification Tournament in Lignano but for a man in form then that is Tamas Lakatos.
He is included in the Hungarian team with Martin Palatinus and Gergely Perei; the Hungarians being the no.2 seeds.
Leading Ladies
Similarly in the Girls’ Team event, players who have succeeded on the ITTF Junior Circuit are in Action.
Magdalena Szczerkowska, who won in 2009 in Malta and Spain, lines up alongside Klaudia Kusinska and Sandra Wabik in the top seeded Polish team; while Cristina Hirici and Camelia Postoaca are both named in the Romania outfit and Krisztina Ambrus in included in the Hungarian team.
Cristina Hirici struck gold in Germany and Qatar in 2008, Camelia Postoaca was crowned Girls’ Singles champion in Bahrain and Tunis in 2009 and earlier this year won once more in Bahrain while Krisztina Ambrus won back-to-back titles in 2008 being successful in Venezuela and Ecuador.
Team Members
Andrade Vincze and Roxana Istrate complete the Romanian second seeded team while Merecedes Nagyvaradi and Marietta Angyal join forces with Krisztina Ambrus in the Hungarian outfit.
Hungary occupy the fourth seeded spot with Serbia one place higher; they are represent by Aliz Djurak, Andrea Todorovic, Arne Lupulesku and Aleksandra Raonjic.

Meanwhile, in the Cadet Boys’ Team event, France with Andrea Landrieu, Mehdi Bouloussa and Paul Gauzy in the lineup are the no.1 seeds with the host nation trio of Leonardo Mutti, Alessandro Baciocchi and Jordy Piccolin, next on the agenda.
Two impressive teams and in the counterpart Cadet Girls’ Team event, there is a very intriguing situation.
